Afternoon At The Library

We live 5 minutes from the library, so we decided to check it out. Mommy was pretty impressed at all the things the library had for little kids. She doesn't remember libraries being this nice when she was growing up. The Redwood Shores library had a fish tank. There was a step stool for K to stand on to see the fishies swim by.

There were also little benches and desks for kids to play educational games on computers using colored keyboards.

K was focusing hard to use the mouse.

In the storytelling room, Mommy and K put on a puppet show for Daddy to watch.

There were chairs shaped like a boat. K was the captain and steered the boat.

She lounged around in the big comfy couch shaped like a seashell.

A nice man saw Mommy taking pics of K and he offered to take a family picture. K is a silly girl as always. She's sticking out her tongue. Such a ham!

At the library of course we had to read some books!

Before leaving K went on the observatory deck of the library to see if she can find the birds of the bay.

K got her own library card and can't wait to go back and check out more books!
