G & M Pumpkin Patch & Imagination Parade

It's been awhile since the last post. Mommy has been really busy with work, but let's catch up. Auntie Ali said the pumpkin patch in Livermore was so much fun, so Daddy drove K there. K loved riding the cow train. Part of the ride was really bumpy and fast. When some of the older kids got off the train, they said it was scary, but K asked to ride it again and rode it 4 times. A nice man gave us his left over tokens he didn't use, so K took full advantage of them.

She also rode the pony 3 times.

There was a corn pit, but K was skeptical to go in.

She gradually put her legs in the pit.

And finally went all the way in and touched the corn.

She also found her way out of the hay maze.

After the pumpkin patch, K met up with her friend Mason for lunch.  K gave him a big hug since she has not seen him in a long time.

The children and teachers have been busy preparing for the Imagination Parade. The teachers created projects and activities for the children to make their books come alive inside and outside the classroom.  The book K's class focused on was Pirates Don’t Change Diapers.

The kids dressed up as pirates by wearing striped shirts and made hooks out of foil for the parade. Some kids had eye patches painted on their face.

K's teacher got into character too.

K was so happy when she saw Mommy and Daddy.

Other classrooms dressed up from books like The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Big Red Barn and the Kindergartners dressed up from the book The Grouchy Ladybug.
