You Want Some Candy?

For Halloween, K requested to be Princess P from the the show Super Why. The costume was pretty much sold out everywhere.

This was the closest costume Mommy could find. Thank you Amazon! K seemed to like it and said "I'm Princess P" when she put it on and beamed from ear to ear.

The kids wore their costume to school on Halloween. Teacher D was a princess too! Doesn't she look like she would make a real Belle at Disneyland?

Teacher C was a witch.

 

In the afternoon the kids listened to stories about Halloween. The parents were invited to come and listen.

K got into full costume with her crown and wand before going trick-or-treating.

This year she was tall enough to ring the door bell herself.

 

She had the best time going from house to house. She knew only the houses that were lighted had the candy. She was really careful when picking out a piece of candy and would thank each person. Sometimes she held up the line.

Equally as fun was passing out candy.

Maybe K likes passing out candy even more than trick-or-treating. She was practically begging people to come get some candy.
